Trapezophoros (table support) with Egyptian deities (Isis and Bes)
A leg of a sacred tripod. On it are two busts of Egyptian deities, the upper being Isis and the under one Typhon the genius of evil, the latter being represented with the usual uncouth appearance and deformities. It is a good specimen of the imitative style, and is further remarkable for the quality of the marble. It was found at Porto and once probably stood in the large Serapeum of that emporium.
