Statue with a head of Pompeius
A statue larger than life. He is represented in a heroic style greatly resembling the famous statue of the triumvir in the Palazzo Spada. He rests on the right leg, to which a trunk of a tree serves as a support. In his right hand is a globe, while the left arm over which the chlamys is thrown bears the parazonium.
