    General description

The floor of the back room has not been preserved. Parts of the west part of the floor of the front room have been preserved. In the south remains of a double black band can be seen, in the north remains of a single band. Along the northern band is a white line, probably of tesserae, on the axis of the central column.

    Text

    No text has been preserved.

    Depictions

    No depictions have been preserved.

    Masonry

The rear wall of the back room is of opus reticulatum. In the west part of the passage to statio 40 and in the east part of the passage to statio 42 is a wall of opus vittatum mixtum B. The north wall is apparently showing the core of the wall at the east end. The west end of the south wall is ruined and modern. According to Gismondi's plan the north wall was only in the west part, while the south wall continued to the back wall.

    Interpretation

In view of its position, between stationes 40 and 42, this might have been the office of, for example, the curatores navium Karthaginiensium.
