Harbour of Trajan - Villa Torlonia [33]

The modern Villa Torlonia was built by the Torlonia family in the second half of the 19th century. The family acquired Portus in 1856, and undertook many activities in the area, including the filling of Trajan's hexagon in 1923. Many statues found in Portus are still property of the family.
