 On
both sides of the inscription is a terracotta
relief. The left one shows a surgeon in sitting
position treating the leg of a patient. The latter
is sitting on a high chair.
Right next to the patient we see all kinds of
medical equipment.
On the other relief we see a midwife in action.
The expectant mother sits nude on a chair while
she is held by a third woman.
In front of her, on a low tabouret, sits the midwife.
These were probably the professions of Marcus
Ulpius Amerimnus and Scribonia Attice.
