Also formae, terracotta sarcophagi and amphorae
have been found in the enclosure, mixed
at random . The burial chamber itself remained the same till the
time of Antoninus Pius.
After that time the burial chamber was changed completely by a new
owner.
Arcosolia appeared at floorlevel alongside the walls, whereby niches
were closed.
The walls were plastered again. The arch in the back-wall was partly
taken up by a sarcophagus with inscription:

Lucius Caecilius has made this sarcophagus
after he had obtained a pure and unused place
on the floor of this monument by Perelia Hieronis and Annia Vitalis
and by Annia Decia,
on which place he has made at his own expense nine sarcophagi for
himself and for
Caecilia Hygia, his wife, his freedmen and their descendants.
