On the other lateral wall, above the entrance, the following scene was found:
To the right a man and a woman are walking towards an aedicula or gate with garlands.
Above the head of the man is his name: Deucalio(n). The woman must be Pyrrha.
The right hand of both is near the right shoulder. Behind them are two smaller people,
one on his or her knees, the other standing. Next to the head of the latter one is a small object. They are called homines nati, people born. To the left of them is a seated person, holding
a lance and wearing a helmet: Minerva.

In the relief we see Deucalion and Pyrrha throwing
the stones. Two people are being created. One is still on his or her knees, the other is already standing and receives his soul from Minerva.
This is the so-called Chrysalis, which she holds against the head of the standing person. The aedicula may be a gate
to life.
