TOMB 28
Tomb 28 is the last grave of the group formed by tombs 25 till
28. Like tomb 27, the grave is
much smaller in size than tombs 25 and 26.
The burial chamber was used for inhumation only and dates from
the second century AD.
Of the walls of the tomb not much more than one metre above the
ground has remained.
In the niche in the right wall decorations of flowers can be seen.
Beneath the floor, which is not present anymore, five formae have
been found. In each forma two persons could be buried above
each other.
