Statue of a woman, probably a member of the family of Marcus Aurelius or Commodus (1123)

Found in the Horrea di Hortensius (V,XII,1).
Date: late-Antonine. H. 1.80, h. of the head 0.27.
The body and the head show traces of violence. An inscription on the plinth was erased. A portrait of the same woman, also damaged intentionally, was found on the Agora in Athens. It might be Crispina, wife of Commodus, who was exiled to Capri.
