Statuette of Attis-Dionysus on a lion, dedication by Caius Cartilius Euplus (161)

Found in the Santuario di Attis (IV,I,3).
Date: Antonine. H. 1.16.
Inscription on the plinth. The emasculated Attis is riding the horse as a woman. He is characterized also as Dionysus, by grapes in his hair and the nebris (fawn skin).
