Fragments of an Egyptian sacrificial table of basalt (1898)
Found on Via del Serapeo.
Three fragments of an Egyptian sacrificial table with an inscription of hieroglyphs with the name of Psammetichos I (663-609 BC). In the second or third century AD an enthroned deity was added, with eagle and sceptre with snake: Serapis - Aesculapius - Jupiter.
