Painting of Hypnos (196A) (inv. nr. 196 double with a Bacchic herm)

Found in the Porta Laurentina necropolis, tomb 9.
Date: late-Antonine. W. 0.45, h. 0.915.
The winged Hypos (Sleep) is leaning on a torch. It was probably a pendant of Thanatos (Death).
