Portrait of Marciana, sister of Traianus (20)

Found in the Terme di Porta Marina (IV,X,1-2).
H. 0.58, h. of the head 0.37.
This portrait has provided an alternative name for the Terme di Porta Marina: Terme della Marciana. Possibly the statue to which the portrait belonged formed a group with statues of Traianus (inv. nr. 17) and Traianus' wife Plotina (now in Geneva).
