Funerary relief of a couple (dextrarum iunctio) and three erotes (5)

Found in the central area of the Case a Giardino (III,IX).
Date: c. 140-150 AD. H. 1.30.
The rough edge shows that the relief comes from a niche. The man has a scroll in his left hand. In the left hand of the woman is an apple, symbol of Venus. The upper two erotes carry garlands. Several details, such as the posture of the woman, show Greek influence.
