Statue of a reclining river deity (81)

Found next to the Serapeum (III,XVII,4).
W. 1.22, h. 0.65, d. 0.26.
This could well be the Tiber and conceivably, in view of the place of discovery, the counterpart of a statue of the Nile. With his left hand he holds a cornucopiae. Used as decoration of a fountain, perhaps secondarily, because the hole for the water is not part of the composition.
