THE VICUS AUGUSTANUS LAURENTIUM - RECONSTRUCTION DRAWING

We now reach a settlement close to the coast called Vicus Augustanus Laurentium. The first excavations took place in the 1870's by duke Grazioli and Pietro Rosa. Recent excavations were carried out under the direction of Amanda Claridge (British School at Rome). The British team has provided a reconstruction drawing. Click on the drawing to enlarge.
